Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. This full-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, with or without call responsibility. Case types will vary based on facility needs. You would have the opportunity to work in a major trauma center and/or two outpatient surgical hospitals. One of which was recognized as a center of Excellence in Anesthesia!

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across various surgical specialties
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthetic plans
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and respond to any complications
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and other team members as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Uphold high standards for patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellence
• Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education

Typical Case Types Include:

• Trauma
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• GI Procedures
• ENT
• Outpatient Procedures

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active and unrestricted Louisiana Medical License
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Current DEA/Narcotic License
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
