Facilities Engineering maintains 6 million square feet of clinical and academic facilities and is comprised of 150 professionals, including engineers, MEP mechanics, building finishes, and support staff. Preferred Qualifications Install and maintain various Facility Electrical Systems and Specialty Systems such as Fire Alarms, Pneumatic Tube System, Electrical and Electro‑mechanical Equipment and devices. Perform Preventative Maintenance on Electrical Systems, Panels, VFDs and Generators under the direction of the Sr. Electrician. Responsibilities Handles and disposes of hazardous and/or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines. Keeps equipment clean and operational. Performs Preventative Maintenance on Electrical Systems, Electrical Distribution Systems, Fire Alarms System, Pneumatic Tube System, Emergency Generators and other applicable systems under the supervision of the Senior Electrician. Installs Electrical Circuits. Assists in Electrical Projects as assigned and under the supervision of the Electrical Supervisor. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED. Industrial Electricity knowledge. No prior supervisory experience required. Preferred Requirements Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalency. Industrial Electricity knowledge.
