Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for safely loading/unloading of product.


Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• Inspects equipment for wear and completed product for any defects.
• Verify product load/unloaded against tickets.
• Stocks, organizes, and is responsible for the housekeeping of pipe and/or drycast products
• Load/unload trucks, including deliveries
• Inspects equipment and lifting devices to make sure they are safe and working properly
• Ability to drive a forklift safely
• Ability to use a forklift to stack finished product in the yard
• Unload various resale products
• Effective use to not damage product
• Distinguish different types of products (sizes, specifications) and resale items
• Ability to load and unload trucks with minimal breakage
• Practice good housekeeping, safety procedures and adhere to company policy and procedures
• Tip-out finished product from building

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or receive the approval of the EVP of Operations
• 1+ year(s) forklift / loader experience
• English language proficiency. Spanish is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quick thinker / flexible / problem solver
• Work with coworkers and supervisors in meeting production goals
• Excellent time management skills

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Exposed to high levels of concrete dust.
• Work outdoors but may on occasion work indoors. Temperatures may vary due to weather.
• Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots.
• Exposed to sound and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable.
• Work in extremely bright or very dim lighting conditions.

Shift/Hours Expectations

• Mon - Fri (weekends when needed)
• 45 - 60 hours/week
