Software Engineer - Basic Columbus, OH 43240 5 days in office Only local candidates to Ohio are considered. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience in Java and well versed in Spring Boot, Microservices patterns, event based architecture Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages (Java, ReactJS) and database querying languages Well versed in both RDBMS and NoSQL Experience with micro services and Test‑Driven Development architecture Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle Hands‑on experience in one or more AWS services specifically ECS/EKS, Lambda, MSK, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Practical cloud native experience, AWS is preferred Seniority level Entry level Employment type Contract Job function Finance Industries Information Services Medical insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr BCforward
