The Supply Chain Management Department plays a vital role in supporting hospital operations across our entire system through integrated teams: Strategic Sourcing & Contract Administration, Supply Chain Operations, Value Analysis, and Supply Chain Information Systems (SCIS). These teams collaborate to ensure our hospitals receive the right products and services delivered on time and at the right cost while reinforcing our commitment to quality, affordability, and better patient outcomes.
Role Overview - Manager, Supply Chain Operations The Manager of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Sinai's Supply Chain Operations, including inventory management, supply replenishment, receiving, internal and external distribution, central stores, and mail services. This role is critical in driving system-wide initiatives that align with the organization's strategic objectives, ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing value for internal customers.
Key responsibilities: - Driving initiatives that reflect the system-wide vision, fostering a shared commitment to the desired future state, and achieving objectives.
- Identifying opportunities to provide greater value-added services and collaborating with key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and implement logistics programs that align with the division's goals.
- Continuously identifying areas for improvement, setting improvement goals, and developing strategies for execution.
Requirements: - Education :
- Required: Associate degree
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience :
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations management.
