As a Security Professional – Hospital Vaccine Logistics in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and professional customer service will be essential in responding to various situations unique to a hospital setting. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or other conditions that may impact the security-related posture of the location.
  • Work in collaboration with facility personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client requirements.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and serve as a point of contact for those seeking assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet all hospital requirements regarding vaccinations.
  • Must be able to assist with the restraint of individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Must be able to perform duties in a hospital environment that includes morgue areas.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
