As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance throughout the hospital. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Compliance with hospital policies regarding required vaccinations is mandatory.
• Ability to work in hospital environments including morgue areas is required.
• Ability to safely restrain individuals as part of security-related duties in a hospital setting is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
