As a Security Professional – Healthcare Vaccine Monitor in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within the hospital, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You may be involved in responding to incidents and assisting in situations that require communication and a caring approach, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within a healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted in designated areas.
• Support emergency response protocols, including guiding individuals during evacuations and/or lockdowns as directed by Allied Universal and/or site leadership.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly, documenting observations and actions taken during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment, which may include areas such as the morgue and the need to restrain individuals as required.
• Must comply with all hospital vaccine requirements as a condition of assignment.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
