As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and attentive customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while you respond to situations with professionalism and care. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for mobile patrols. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining a calm and problem-solving approach in critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around its perimeter to support a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Observe for and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, helping to deter potential issues on the premises.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors while following all protocols related to access control and visitor management.
• Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
