We are currently hiring a Front Desk Attendant to join our guest services team. The Front Desk is often the first and last point of contact for our guests-so your role is crucial in delivering an exceptional stay. Position Summary: Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Front Desk Attendant provides warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service throughout the guest experience-from check-in to check-out. This position requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet and check in guests with professionalism and warmth.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, escalating issues as needed.
- Answer internal and external calls and route inquiries efficiently.
- Take reservations and update bookings via phone and hotel systems.
- Run shift reports, reconcile daily transactions, and balance cash drawers.
- Accurately execute end-of-day and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
- Communicate guest concerns and maintenance needs to the appropriate department or supervisor.
Special Requirements: - Regular and punctual attendance is essential. The hotel operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work shifts as business demands change (including potential overtime).
- Minimum availability of 16 hours per week required for part-time employees.
- Must comply with professional appearance and uniform standards.
- Expected to uphold a team-oriented attitude and support colleagues across departments.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving weekly electronic timecards for accuracy.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements: - Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands for tools or controls.
- Must be able to talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
- Work environment ranges from quiet to moderately active depending on guest traffic.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Lightspeed, Fosse, and MICROS systems preferred
- Liquor License - KCMO, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Must be willing to complete drug screen and background check in accordance with federal and state laws
