Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced immunologist to join the Odyssey team at our laboratories in Boston, MA. Working with project leaders and other scientists, you will conduct experiments to drive our scientific research. You will work as a member of an integrated project team to develop drugs for the treatment of inflammatorymediated disease.

You will work in a crossdisciplinary, fastmoving environment, and will be drawing upon your experience to drive drug discovery projects forward. You will possess strong communication skills, be a worldclass scientist, and have a proven record of developing science.

Job Requirements

• Doctoral degree in immunology with 5+ years of professional laboratory experience
• Command of tissue culture procedures and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and maintenance
• Extensive experience in cellular biology, including isolation, culture, and manipulation of primary cells
• Experience conducting multiparametric analyses of pharmacologic and genetic perturbations; experience in flow cytometry considered a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a team environment
• Ability to scientifically challenge others constructively
• Exceptional ability working productively in an integrated team environment
• Record of innovative thinking, and ability to propose and champion new ideas and solve problems
• Proven track record of accomplishment as demonstrated by a strong record of publications and presentations
• Experience working with protein therapeutics and small molecule targets is a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Design and execute relevant cellbased and biochemical assays to support lead optimization, progression of therapeutic candidates, and mechanism of action studies
• Design and execute assays to support the development of pharmacodynamic markers of activity for preclinical and clinical studies
• Work independently to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize research goals and activities
• Partner with colleagues across the enterprise to ensure timely generation, interpretation and dissemination of critical program data and information to enable decisionmaking
• Communicate results effectively and in a timely manner
• Manage resources and activities at external partners (CROs), including troubleshooting methods and other research activities
• Conduct your research in a manner compliant with laboratory requirements, including safety and record keeping
• When appropriate, publish and present research internally and externally
